Seero (Sindhi Halwa)

1 cup whole wheat flour

3/4th cup sugar

1 cup ghee/oil melted

2 cups water

1 teaspoon green cardamom powder

1 tablespoon chopped almonds/pistachio


Put ghee in a karahi and heat it on medium flame.

Add wheat flour to it and keep stirring it till flour becomes golden brown in color and emits aroma.

Lower the flame.

Carefully put water in it as It will splutter a bit.

Add sugar and green cardamom powder and keep stirring.

In a minute water will get absorbed and the mixture will thicken and start leaving sides of karahi.

Switch off the flame.

Garnish with chopped nuts and serve.

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes

Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

Serves: 6
