3 cups Milk Powder
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Pistachio powder (coarse)
2 Tablespoons Desi Ghee
1 1/2 cup water
In a non stick pan put ghee, 1 cup milk powder and 1 cup sugar.
Add water and mix with a whisk to a smooth paste.
Put this pan on medium-low heat and bring it to rolling boil, mixing all the time.
Now take pan off the flame.
Now add remaining 2 cups milk powder.
Put the pan on flame again and keep mixing the paste till it thickens.
Keep flame low.
Now add pistachio powder (keep 1 tablespoon powder aside for garnish).
Take the pan off the flame when it becomes dough like.
Let it cool completely.
Knead it to smoothen.
Now grease your palms with a drop of ghee and make peras of desired size.
Garnish each pera with half pistachio.
