Pista Burfi


3 Cups Milk Powder

1 Cup Sugar

1 Cup Pistachio powder (coarse)

2 Tablespoons Desi Ghee

1 1/2 cup water


In a non stick pan add the ghee, 1 cup milk powder and 1 cup sugar.

Add water and mix with a whisk to a smooth paste.

Put this pan on medium-low heat and bring it to rolling boil, mixing all the time.

Now take pan off the flame.

Now add remaining 2 cups milk powder.

Put the pan on flame again and keep mixing the paste till it thickens.

Keep flame low.

Now add pistachio powder (keep 1 tablespoon powder aside for garnish).

Mix well.

Take the pan off the flame when it becomes dough like.

Pour this dough into a greased container and garnish with remaining pistachio powder.

Let it cool completely.

Pistachio Burfi is Ready.

Cut it in desired shape and size.

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes
