Pista Peda


Ingredients:

3 cups Milk Powder 1 cup Sugar 1 cup Pistachio powder (coarse) 2 Tablespoons Desi Ghee 1 1/2 cup water

Method:

In a non stick pan put ghee, 1 cup milk powder and 1 cup sugar. Add water and mix with a whisk to a smooth paste. Put this pan on medium-low heat and bring it to rolling boil, mixing all the time. Now take pan off the flame. Now add remaining 2 cups milk powder. Put the pan on flame again and keep mixing the paste till it thickens. Keep flame low. Now add pistachio powder (keep 1 tablespoon powder aside for garnish). Mix well. Take the pan off the flame when it becomes dough like. Let it cool completely. Knead it to smoothen. Now grease your palms with a drop of ghee and make peras of desired size. Garnish each pera with half pistachio.

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes
