Jeera Cookies

Melt In the Mouth Khara Cumin Biscuits



Ingredients:


1 Cup plain flour (Maida)

1/2 Cup unsalted butter at room temperature

1 1/2 Tablespoons sugar (powder)

1 pinch salt or as per taste

1 Teaspoon Cumin seeds

1 Teaspoon water


Method:


Put all dry ingredients in a bowl

Mix in butter

Bring the mixture together with a few drops of water

Roll the dough on a flat surface in a thick square (around 1 cm thickness)

Cut out small squares

With the help of a toothpick either poke tiny holes in the cookies

Or make diagonal lines


Line oven tray with aluminum foil sheet

Do not grease it


Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree C for 10-12 minutes

Cool to room temperature and store in an airtight jar.


Preparation Time: 15 Minutes


Baking Time: 10 Minutes
