Pickle Time


Lemon Pickle


Ingredients


12 lemons

3 Tablespoons salt

6 Tablespoons sugar


Method


Squeeze out juice from all lemons

Chop the lemon skin in quarters

Take a dry glass jar

Put 1 tablespoon salt

Put all lemon quarters

Add in lemon juice, remaining salt and sugar

Cover the jar and leave it aside for few hours in the sunlight daily for 10-15 days

With this solar power salt and sugar will melt

In few weeks time lemon skin will soften and turn light brown in color

The sweet and sour pickle is ready to relish
