Protein Rich Energy Balls

Ladoo to Refuel


Ingredients


1 Cup chopped nuts - almonds, cashew, pistachio, hazel nuts

1 Tablespoon golden raisins

1 Tablespoon sun flower seeds

1 Teaspoon green cardamom powder

2/3rd Cup sugar

2 Tablespoons edible gum

1 Cup flour mix - 1/3rd cup each of wheat flour, besan and urad dal flour

1/2 Cup pure ghee

1/3 Cup water


Method


Take a karahi and keep it on low flame.

Put ghee and edible gum in it.

Gum will start to puff up.

Keep stirring and breaking gum to powder.

It will take about 4-5 minutes.

Now add to it flour and keep mixing and roasting till it gets to light brown color.

Add chopped nuts, raisins, sunflower seeds and cardamom powder and mix well.

Now add sugar and mix it for 2 minutes.

Add water which will bring this mixture together.

Cool it to almost room temperature.

Now grease your palms with little ghee and make balls.

Once completely cool, store them in airtight jar.


Cooking Time: 10 Minutes


Makes: 16 servings
